Job Description

1. Support attorneys with all aspects of real estate transactions, including commercial and residential closings.
2. Review titles, surveys, and prepare necessary documentation for real estate transactions.
3. Coordinate buy/sell and loan transactions from inception to closing.
4. Communicate directly with title underwriters to prepare title commitments and clear title requirements.
5. Draft closing documents, entity resolutions, and closing statements.
6. Prepare lease summaries and assist with entity documentation.
7. Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
8. Maintain organized schedules and ensure attorneys meet all deadlines.
9. Track and maintain records of billable hours.

Qualifications

1. Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
2. Paralegal certificate preferred.
3. Minimum 5 years of experience as a real estate paralegal in a law firm.
4. Proficiency in real estate software (e.g., ClosingVU, Qualia), Microsoft Office Suite, and document management systems.
5. Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
6. Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
7. Knowledge of Florida real estate law and court e-filing processes.
