Education First Federal Credit Union in Beaumont, TX seeks a Real Estate Loan Servicing Specialist to prepare and maintain real estate loan servicing documents, escrow accounts, and ensure data integrity. You will handle mortgage assistance, loan modifications, insurance claims, HMDA reporting, and quality control to support compliant operations.

Qualifications

Experience with real estate loan servicing processes.
Familiarity with HMDA reporting and compliance.
Ability to review loan data for accuracy.

Responsibilities

Answer members’ questions regarding real estate lending and provide amortization schedules, loan payoffs, loan rates, and servicing-related information.
Maintain accurate real estate escrow records and ensure documentation of paid property taxes and insurance.
Process mortgage assistance applications and evaluate required documentation for completeness and accuracy.
Coordinate and process loan modifications in accordance with guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Process payments to title companies for title searches, appraisals, and related services.
Maintain loan information in the core system and complete required follow-up documentation.
Maintain real estate loan files and prepare correspondence for officers, notary duties, and satisfaction of mortgages.
