Job summary

Jones Lang Lasalle is seeking a Market Research Analyst to track office, retail and residential markets, focusing on Hyderabad and Chennai, to deliver timely data-driven insights.

You will collect primary data, maintain Excel datasets, prepare forecasts and draft market reports, working with the REIS central team and APAC colleagues to ensure accurate submissions and client-ready research outputs.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Real Estate (Planning or Architecture), Economics or Business Administration, with 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to build, maintain and validate databases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel and comfortable with statistical techniques and data management systems.
• Ability to design and deliver clear presentations.

Responsibilities

• Track office, retail and residential markets across Hyderabad.
• Monitor policy announcements and infrastructure projects at the state level.
• Collect data from primary sources, including visits to developers’ offices and project sites.
• Prepare and maintain Excel datasets, participate in forecasting discussions and draft market reports for Chennai.
• Collaborate with the REIS central team and reporting manager, interacting with the APAC team for submissions.
• Provide client research on real‑estate market intelligence studies, location intelligence, construction intelligence, transaction intelligence, and other key themes.
• Support assignment‑based and ad-hoc research queries.
• Maintain and update the Hyderabad REIS database.
• Perform data cleaning, preparation, interpretation and analysis using Excel, statistical techniques and internal CRM database.
• Create cohesive presentations with proper slide layout and design.
