Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Pittsburgh is seeking an entry-level to 3+ year commercial real estate analyst to support leasing and sales by building and maintaining advanced Excel models, reviewing leases and operating statements, and preparing client-ready materials.

You will collaborate with brokerage teams, gather market data, and help create pitches. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Real Estate is preferred, and strong Excel/PowerPoint/Word skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Entry level to 3+ years in commercial real estate.
• Strong computer orientation with Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships.
• Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Support brokerage (leasing/sales) activities by assisting and completing special projects to support quality decision making by clients and brokerage team.
• Create sophisticated Excel-based analytical tools including macro-enabled financial models and ad-hoc analyses.
• Read and review real estate documents (leases, operating statements, reports) and prepare abstract reports for clients.
• Prepare offering materials for new or existing assignments and pursuits.
• Assist with preparing presentation materials for new business pursuits.
• Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data for client deliverables and valuation models.
• Act as point of contact for tracking, management, and reporting.
