Job summary

Coates Field Service Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a power project in Augusta, Maine. The role oversees land management, real estate activities, and coordination with external contractors to deliver scope, schedule, and budgets.

The ideal candidate holds a Maine Real Estate Broker license, a bachelor’s degree related to land/real estate, and a PMP or equivalent is recommended. Travel readiness is required for this national land acquisition work.

Qualifications

Must be a licensed Real Estate Broker for Maine
Bachelor’s degree in Land Management, Engineering, Real Estate, or equivalent preferred
Project Manager certificate (PMP or equivalent) recommended
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience, with 2 years on Electrical/Oil & Gas pipelines or utility projects
Knowledge of real estate strategy and property rights acquisition

Responsibilities

Lead on projects to develop scope, schedule, budget, forecast, deliverables and milestones for real estate rights acquisitions
Coordinate land management activities with project/operations groups and external stakeholders
Direct work of contractors and manage expectations for high-quality deliverables
Negotiate and acquire right-of-way and other real property interests for assets
Manage land budgets and cost estimates for land and easements
Continuously evaluate delivery methods to identify improvement opportunities
