Job summary

Boutique Recruiting in Augusta, ME seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through warranty. You will oversee schedules, budgets, client relationships, subcontractors, and internal teams with a strong focus on quality, safety, and delivery.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years PM experience in commercial building, design-build, and related fields. Procore is strongly preferred; travel to sites in the region is required.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive construction experience with PM responsibilities.
• Background leading commercial building projects, new construction or renovation.
• Experience with construction management and design-build projects.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret plans and specs.
• Travel to project sites throughout the region as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial construction projects through preconstruction, construction, closeout, and warranty phases.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource strategies.
• Manage project costs, monitor financial performance, and track progress.
• Build strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Lead project teams including Assistant PMs, Superintendents, and Foremen.
• Manage changes in scope and communicate impact on budgets and schedules.
• Oversee quality, safety, and adherence to plans and standards.
• Identify risks early and develop solutions to keep projects moving.
• Visit active job sites regularly, typically once per week.
• Represent the organization professionally with clients, consultants, and public agencies.
