Job summary

RSM US LLP is seeking a Real Estate Finance as a Service Senior Associate to support month-end close, financial reporting and forecasting for private middle-market real estate clients. You will interact with client executives and leverage cloud-based tech in a team-based environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in accounting or finance, experience with property-level accounting, and familiarity with Yardi or MRI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance required.
• Experience in property-level accounting and finance functions.
• Experience with real estate technology systems (Yardi, MRI).
• Excellent written and oral communication; proactive status updates.

Responsibilities

• Serve as key point of contact for Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash and Month End Close cycles.
• Lead, manage and coach client services representatives and associates.
• Review monthly journal entries for various accounts in a timely manner.
• Prepare/Review client monthly financial statements and variance analyses.
• Identify process improvements to enhance monthly close efficiency.
