Mt. Pleasant Abstract & Title Family of Agencies in Petoskey, MI seeks a detail‑oriented real estate closing assistant to support REALTORS, lenders, attorneys, and clients in resolving title issues and preparing closing documents.

You will read title insurance commitments, assist in preparing disclosures and settlement statements with lenders, facilitate escrow closings, and ensure settlement packages are disbursed through completion. A Notary Public license is required or pursued.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Able to handle confidential information.
• Strong written and oral communication.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Ability to read and interpret documents.
• Notary Public license.
• Experience in the real estate industry preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist REALTORS, lenders, attorneys, and clients in resolving title issues.
• Read and understand a title insurance commitment.
• Prepare closing documents to complete real estate transactions.
• Work with lenders in preparing Closing Disclosures and Settlement Statements.
• Facilitate escrow closings on behalf of the company.
• Disburse settlement packages through completion.
