Job summary

Sun Title Agency in Michigan seeks an Escrow Officer to coordinate all aspects of real estate transactions and manage escrow closings for both residential and commercial deals.

You will prepare closing statements, review title commitments, verify tax information, and liaise with brokers, lenders, attorneys, and clients to ensure accurate, timely closings while maintaining regulatory compliance and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• > High school diploma or GED required.
• < Advanced knowledge of real estate transactions and escrow services preferred.
• < Minimum of 2 years related industry experience preferred.
• < Valid Title Producer’s License within 1 month of hire.
• < Valid Notary Public License within 1 month of hire.
• < Driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Manage escrow accounts for residential and commercial real estate transactions.
• Prepare settlement statements and closing documents, including disclosures.
• Coordinate the transaction process with real estate agents, lenders, borrowers, buyers, and sellers.
• Review title commitments and liaise with title exam professionals and underwriters.
• Order updates for title commitments, tax updates and payoff updates as needed.
• Maintain meticulous escrow records and ensure compliance with state regulations.
