Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an Assistant Controller to join the Seattle-based team. You will lead monthly close, GAAP reporting, budgeting, cash management and policy compliance for a large real estate portfolio.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of accounting experience, 2–3 years in a supervisory role, and strong Excel, MRI and Yardi skills. This on-site role offers competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 5-10 years of relevant accounting experience.
• 2-3 years in a controller or supervisory role preferred.
• Property management or real estate experience preferred.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting systems, MRI/Yardi preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly close and GAAP financial reporting deliverables for client portfolio.
• Oversee budgeting cycles and reforecast processes.
• Supervise cash management and AP cycle, ensure policy compliance.
• Coordinate with property teams and client’s requirements.
• Lead and develop finance staff, monitor performance and training.
