EHDOC, based in Plantation, FL, seeks a Controller to ensure accurate financial records, oversee reporting, and support the CFO with audits and cash management. You will reconcile accounts, lead close processes, and supervise property accounting tasks across portfolio entities.

The role requires strong GAAP knowledge, years of accounting experience in real estate or nonprofit sectors, and ability to coordinate with external auditors and government reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or related field is required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience and knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience with HUD affordable housing programs and IRS 42 low-income housing tax credit knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Review and reconcile accounting data to ensure accuracy.
• Assist CFO with financial reporting and month-end close.
• Perform bank reconciliations and cash management support.
• Support intercompany reconciliations and intercompany billings.
• Assist with external audits and prepare work papers for auditors.
• Monitor and record fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
• Assist with HUD reporting and low-income housing tax credit compliance.
• Maintain organized property files and assist property accountants.
