Landtrust Title Services seeks an experienced Escrow Closing Specialist to manage all aspects of real estate closings in a high-volume Chicago environment. You will ensure accurate disbursement of funds, prepare closing documents, balance figures, and execute packages while coordinating with attorneys and lenders.

The role requires 3+ years in escrow, strong real estate document literacy, and proficiency with MS Office and title software.

Qualifications

3+ years of professional escrow experience.
Experience in the title industry.
Ability to write professional correspondence and routine reports.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Proficiency with industry-specific software.
Aptitude to read and interpret real estate documents.
Adept at setting priorities and problem resolution.
Skilled at calculating figures such as interest, prorations and commissions.
Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced closing environment.

Responsibilities

Responsible for all aspects of the real estate closing and ensures proper disbursement of funds.
Prepares miscellaneous documents required at closing.
Enters closing figures; balances and funds files.
Ensures closing package is properly executed.
Attends and manages real estate closings.
Reviews title commitment and is responsible for collecting title clearance.
Reviews mortgage payoffs for accuracy and transmits payoff funds.
Acts as the liaison between attorneys and lenders at closing.
