Jobot is seeking a motivated Real Estate Attorney in Georgia to handle a broad range of residential and commercial real estate matters, including closings, title review, and client counseling.

The ideal candidate has a J.D. from an accredited law school, is actively admitted to the Georgia Bar, and brings 6+ years of real estate law experience to manage transactions from contract through post-closing while maintaining strong client, lender, agent, and developer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential and commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing
• Conduct and review title searches; resolve title issues and draft opinions
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, deeds, closing documents
• Oversee and conduct real estate closings under Georgia law
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders, agents, and developers
• Ensure accuracy of closing documents and file records
• Handle post-closing matters, including recording and title policy issuance
• Stay current on Georgia real estate laws and market trends

The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing transactions from contract through post-closing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, lenders, agents, and developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage residential and commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing
• Conduct and review title searches; resolve title issues and prepare title opinions
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, deeds, closing documents, and related agreements
• Oversee and conduct real estate closings, ensuring compliance with Georgia law
• Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and other stakeholders
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all closing documentation and file records
• Handle post-closing matters, including recording and title policy issuance
• Stay current on Georgia real estate laws, regulations, and market trends

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active membership in good standing with the Georgia Bar
• 6+ years of experience in real estate law (residential and/or commercial closings preferred)
