Adams & Martin Group is assisting a Clayton, Missouri, law firm in their search for a Real Estate Associate with at least 3 years of experience.

This role is designed for an attorney currently practicing at a larger regional or national firm who is ready for more ownership, meaningful client relationships, and a clear path toward long-term growth within a high-performing transactional group.

The Practice

• Commercial acquisitions and dispositions
• Commercial leasing
• Financing and secured lending transactions
• Development and construction projects
• Title and survey review
• Easements, covenants, and access agreements
• Entity formation and ownership structures for real estate investments
• Due diligence for commercial transactions

What You'll Do

• Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, easements, and related real estate documents
• Manage commercial real estate transactions from contract through closing
• Conduct and analyze title, survey, zoning, and due diligence reviews
• Work directly with clients, lenders, title companies, brokers, and opposing counsel
• Advise clients on practical business and legal issues throughout a transaction
• Collaborate with attorneys across all practice groups when transactions require multidisciplinary support
• Continue building technical expertise while taking on increasing responsibility and client contact

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of commercial real estate experience
• Experience handling acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and related commercial transactions
• Strong drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills
• Excellent attention to detail and project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters while meeting deadlines
• Strong communication and client service skills
• Self-starter with the initiative to take ownership of matters and work independently while collaborating effectively with the team
• Missouri licensure or eligibility for admission

Compensation & Structure

• Salary range: $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience
• Bonus opportunity based on billable hours and overall performance
• Billable hour expectation: 1,800 hours annually
• Hybrid/flexible work options available after a 90-day onboarding period
