This role is designed for an attorney who is ready for more ownership, meaningful client relationships, and a clear path toward long-term growth within a high-performing transactional group.

You will manage defined portions of M&A and commercial real estate transactions, draft and negotiate core documents, advise on governance, and coordinate with lenders and advisors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of corporate transactional and/or commercial real estate experience.
• Experience supporting corporate transactions and due diligence.
• Strong drafting skills and ability to negotiate routine documents.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

Adams & Martin Group is seeking a corporate transactional associate to join our client's sophisticated and growing business practice.

This role is designed for an attorney who is ready for more ownership, meaningful client relationships, and a clear path toward long-term growth within a high-performing transactional group.

The Practice

• Buy- and sell-side mergers and acquisitions
• Asset and stock purchase transactions
• Commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing
• Corporate structuring and governance matters
• Strategic transactions from letter of intent through closing

We represent privately held businesses, developers, investors, and growth-oriented companies across industries.

What You'll Do

This position is not limited to drafting support. You will:

• Manage defined portions of M&A and commercial real estate transactions with appropriate supervision
• Draft and negotiate core transaction documents (purchase agreements, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, LOIs, NDAs, financing documents)
• Advise clients on corporate governance and risk management
• Serve as a secondary client contact while developing direct client relationships
• Coordinate with lenders, accountants, business advisors, and opposing counsel
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and continue developing technical and business skills

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of corporate transactional and/or commercial real estate experience
• Experience supporting corporate transactions, commercial real estate matters, and due diligence
• Strong drafting skills with the ability to negotiate routine transaction documents
• Ability to manage multiple matters, prioritize deadlines, and work collaboratively
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a desire to continue building client relationships
• Missouri licensure or eligibility for admission

We are seeking an attorney with a solid transactional foundation who is eager to continue developing sophisticated deal experience, take on increasing responsibility, and build a long-term practice.

Compensation & Structure

• Salary range: $130,000 - $180,000 depending on experience
• Bonus opportunity based on billable hours and overall performance
• Billable hour expectation: 1,800 hours annually
• Hybrid/flexible work options available after a 90-day onboarding period
