Job summary
Empira Group in Miami is seeking an Acquisitions & Development Associate to support evaluation, underwriting, and management of residential real estate investments from acquisition through development, construction, and project completion.
Working closely with the Acquisitions and Development teams, you will conduct financial analysis, coordinate due diligence, support project execution, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver development projects aligned with the
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in real estate acquisitions, development, investment analysis, or private equity real estate.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including acquisition underwriting, discounted cash flow, and development pro forma analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Argus Enterprise and other real estate platforms preferred.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and underwrite residential acquisition and development opportunities using financial models and market research.
- Prepare investment memoranda, financial analyses, and presentation materials with transaction assumptions, returns, and risks.
- Support all phases of the acquisition process including deal screening, due diligence, contract review, and closing.
- Perform feasibility analyses, market research, and development pipeline assessments to support investment decisions.
- Assist with valuation analyses, acquisitions financing, and due diligence throughout the investment lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Development to support project execution from due diligence through construction and handoff.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, lenders, and municipalities to facilitate timely project execution.
- Prepare internal and external project updates, management presentations, and development reports.
