Job summary

Kahala Management, LLC. is seeking a Real Estate Accountant to join its Contract Division in Arizona. The role focuses on rent-related accounting, AR/AP processing, and maintaining accurate records for assigned stores, collaborating with landlords, franchisees, and internal teams.

The Analyst – Contract will ensure timely processing of rent invoices, reconciliations, and communications, supporting collections and ongoing operational accounting processes in a dynamic franchise environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Experience with accounts payable/receivable and real estate accounting is desirable.
• Experience with SAP ERP systems is preferred.
• Retail or restaurant industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute monthly rent reports to landlords for assigned stores.
• Process AR/AP transactions and reconcile rent statements.
• Maintain accurate vendor and franchisee records, including W9s.
• Follow up on unpaid balances and payment arrangements.
• Support collections and balance reporting for legal processes.
• Assist with CAM, property taxes, and other rent-related charges.

Education

Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
