The Ready Mix Plant Manager at Cemex US will oversee a territory of the ready mix operation, supervise drivers and plant personnel, schedule dispatch, coordinate job sites, and manage plant operations and raw materials. You will ensure safety, quality, and cost control in a fast-paced environment across multiple sites.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, DOT certification, strong computer skills, and at least 3 years of plant production experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to climb conveyor belts for maintenance.
• DOT certification to manufacture concrete and concrete products.
• Proficient in computer use and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• 3 years' experience performing varied responsibilities related to plant production.

Responsabilités

• Supervise hourly workforce including hiring, directing, training, counseling, and disciplining to include suspending employees for serious infractions or poor performance.
• Conduct hourly employee performance reviews.
• Maintain plant housekeeping, environmental, and safety policy to comply with regulations.
• Control and minimize plant costs while maintaining quality.
• Measure and manage inventories of raw materials and maintain stock for operations.
• Understand automated batch plant operation and optimize control parameters.
• Provide preventative maintenance and repair of equipment as needed.
