Job summary

CEMEX US in Houston is seeking an Assistant Plant Superintendent for Ready Mix operations. You will schedule drivers and plant personnel, coordinate job sites, and oversee day-to-day plant operations and maintenance to ensure on-time, safe production.

This role requires a college degree or several years of plant experience, safety mindset, and strong leadership. You will work with KRONOS, SAP, and other systems while upholding safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• College degree, preferably in engineering, or 5+ years of related working experience.
• 5+ years experience in plant production, safety, and maintenance; equipment maintenance; experience in detecting and resolving production problems
• 3+ years in a supervisory role
• ACI Certification

Responsibilities

• Schedule drivers and plant personnel with Dispatch.
• Coordinate job sites and approve time in KRONOS and PBC systems.
• Manage plant operations and maintenance; oversee raw materials.
• Maintain safety standards and investigate incidents.
• Oversee quality and testing of materials.
