Job summary

You will drive continuous improvement, ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA/DOT, and lead maintenance and inventory control. The job requires experience in batch plant operations and the ability to relocate

Qualifications

• Must be able to climb conveyor belts for maintenance.
• D.O.T. certified to manufacture concrete and concrete products.
• Proficient in the use of a computer and Microsoft Office applications.
• Must possess good written and oral communication skills.
• High school degree or equivalent/some technical, vocational or education preferred.
• 3 years’ experience performing varied responsibilities related to plant production.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly workforce, including hiring, training, counseling, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Conduct hourly employee performance reviews.
• Maintain plant housekeeping, environmental, and safety policy compliance with rules.
• Control and minimize plant costs while maintaining quality.
• Measure raw material inventories and manage inventory levels for ongoing operation.
• Knowledge of Ginco batch interface and optimization of control parameters.
