Job summary

Cemex US is seeking a Ready Plant Manager to oversee a ready mix operation in Georgia, coordinating drivers, scheduling plant personnel, and managing site operations and raw materials. The role requires DOT certification and experience supervising hourly staff, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and experience with batch plant systems. Willingness to relocate domestically is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical/vocational education is preferred.
• DOT certification to manufacture concrete products is required or pursued.
• Must be proficient with basic computer and office applications.
• Experience supervising hourly workers and managing plant operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hourly workforce, including hiring, directing, training, counseling, and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Conduct hourly employee performance reviews.
• Maintain plant housekeeping, safety policies, and regulatory compliance.
• Control and minimize plant costs while ensuring consistent product quality.
• Measure and manage raw material inventories; maintain adequate stock levels.
• Operate batch plant systems, including Ginco interface, and optimize control parameters.
• Provide preventative maintenance and repair equipment as needed.
