Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a seasoned Ready‑Mix technical specialist to lead performance improvement initiatives across NAM. You will translate field observations, QC results, and batch data into actionable plans that raise mix quality, strength, and efficiency.

This role requires a civil engineering or related degree and 5+ years in Ready‑Mix or construction materials. You will partner with regional teams, develop KPIs, and drive data‑based decisions while traveling to

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent Ready‑Mix technical experience considered.
5+ years in Ready‑Mix or construction‑materials environments.
Strong knowledge of mix design, materials, batching, strength and durability.

Responsibilities

Lead Ready‑Mix technical and materials performance improvement initiatives across NAM.
Identify high‑impact opportunities related to mix performance, quality, and cost‑to‑produce.
Translate field observations and QC data into actionable improvement plans.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, root causes and opportunities.
Lead root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions for performance issues.
Support NAM materials strategy, standards, and performance routines.
Partner with regional teams to turn findings into practical, measurable results.
Strengthen KPIs, control limits, action triggers and accountability.
