Job summary

Cemex USA offers an immersive Ready-Mix Internship Development Program (IDP) for current college students. This 10-week, on-site internship starts in May and covers Cement Manufacturing, Process Improvements, Quality and Reliability, Equipment Maintenance, Production Process, and Data Management.

As an IDP participant, you will experience hands-on projects, learn from experienced professionals, and develop both technical and soft skills while contributing to real-world improvements.

Qualifications

• Active pursuit of a bachelor's degree in CIM, Construction Science Management/Construction Management, Business Admin/Management, Mechanical Engineer, Environmental Engineering or related field with at least junior year standing.
• GPA 2.5 or above; preference for 3.0+.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and proactive problem-solving.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities; ability to present ideas clearly.
• Technical proficiency from internships, co-ops, or university projects; teamwork is valued.
