Job summary

Knife River is seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to grow ready-mix concrete sales in the Rockdale Ready Mix area and surrounding markets. You will identify opportunities, develop new business, and strengthen customer relationships to maximize plant utilization and revenue growth.

The ideal candidate has 3–7+ years in construction materials sales, a proven ability to generate sales, and a driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of sales experience in ready-mix concrete or construction materials.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and project timelines.
• Proven track record of growing sales and building relationships.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow ready-mix concrete sales in the local market.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with contractors and developers.
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers for repeat business.
• Track pipelines, bids, and upcoming work in the territory.
• Coordinate with dispatch, plant personnel, and QC to fulfill orders.
• Support pricing strategies and contract negotiations with leadership.
