Knife River Corporation is seeking a Sales Representative to grow ready-mix concrete sales in the Rockdale area and surrounding markets. You will develop new business opportunities, manage key accounts, and work with operations to optimize plant utilization and profitability.

The ideal candidate has 3–7+ years of sales experience in construction materials, a solid understanding of concrete applications, and a valid driver's license. Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent industry experience.

Qualifications

• 3-7+ years of sales experience in ready-mix concrete or construction materials.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes and project timelines.
• Proven track record of growing sales and building relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow ready-mix concrete sales within the local market area.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with contractors, developers, and project owners.
• Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
• Actively track project pipelines, bids, and upcoming work in the territory.
• Serve as primary contact for key accounts and jobsite stakeholders.
• Coordinate with operations to align sales with plant capabilities and scheduling.
• Monitor market conditions and provide feedback to leadership.
