Job summary

Ampact's Reading Corps seeks a Reading Tutor to help students become strong readers in a local school. You will deliver proven activities, coach students, and follow a daily schedule for short tutoring sessions. You\'ll receive training, ongoing support from an on-site coach, and participate in data tracking of student progress.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (email and navigating online).
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult who's focused on helping children thrive
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to ensure students receive support
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's on-site coach
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores in data software
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training
• Share your experience with the community
