Ampact’s Reading Corps seeks Reading Tutors to work in local schools, delivering structured 20-minute reading sessions to pairs of students daily. You’ll be trained and supported by an on-site coach, tracking progress and adapting activities to boost literacy skills.

Qualifications
- Dependable with a history of good attendance.
- Able to follow instructions and implement feedback.
- Proficient in basic computer skills (email, navigating online).
- Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
- 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check.
Responsibilities
- Be a caring adult focused on helping children thrive.
- Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule for consistent support.
- Track student progress and meet with the on-site coach.
- Conduct skill assessments and enter scores in data software.
