Alpha reimagines the school day with AI-adaptive apps and small-group reading workshops for K-2 students. You guide, engage, and adapt instruction using live data and structured-literacy approaches to accelerate reading in a dynamic classroom.

The role emphasizes building rapport, delivering motivating sessions, and analyzing data to refine instruction, with on-site work at one Alpha campus and a pathway to broader responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field plus 2+ years of K-2 structured reading instruction.
• Structured-literacy certification OR a Master’s in reading instruction.
• Ability to design independent reading lessons and articulate instructional content.
• Ability to assess reading progress in fluency, decoding, and phonics.
• Willingness to work on-site full-time at one Alpha campus.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Create and facilitate small-group K-2 reading workshops rooted in structured-literacy approaches using live data.
• Conduct daily motivation sessions to reach weekly adaptive-app targets with gamification.
• Deliver and evaluate running records, fluency assessments, and decoding measures.
• Analyze AI-generated performance insights to personalize instruction.
• Engage as the energetic adult your K-2 students look forward to seeing daily.
