Job summary

Alpha reimagines schooling with faster learning and more time for real-world skills. As a Reading Program Coordinator, you guide K-3 students through app-based modules and small group sessions, diagnosing gaps and designing targeted sequences to close them.

You’ll monitor progress with weekly data, maintain daily routines from launch to close, and support on-site campus activities. This is a full-time, on-site role with relocation support and nationwide hiring.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years working directly with children aged 4–9 in teaching, coaching or similar settings.
• At least 2 years of reading instruction experience with K–3 students in the last 5 years.
• Completed structured-literacy training or a master’s in reading or literacy.
• Bachelor’s degree in any subject; teaching certificate not required.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coach students through app-based core learning and help them reach daily goals.
• Run short structured-literacy sessions with 2–4 students and diagnose gaps.
• Lead morning launch, life-skills workshops, and daily check-chart activities.
• Drive students toward weekly app goals using gamification and leaderboards.
• Stay with students through lunch, recess, and closing with a proactive plan.
