Job summary

Unknown School District is seeking an Interventionist Teacher to provide targeted support for students lagging in reading and/or math. The role focuses on closing gaps through intensive, data-driven instruction and collaboration with SST initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, K-12 teaching experience, and strong organizational and communication skills to track progress and engage families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year educational institution.
• State certification preferred but not required.
• Experience in a K-12 classroom setting strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach CSI small groups for students at risk in reading and/or math, covering multiple student populations.
• Coordinate with general education teachers to align intervention support.
• Implement state learning standards and PLTW/Honors/AP curricula and assessments.
• Deliver relevant content and grade level objectives, and prepare lesson plans in advance.
• Use formal and informal assessments to monitor progress and adjust plans accordingly.
• Communicate students’ progress weekly to students and families.
