Job summary

Diamond Health Care Solutions Ltd is seeking a Deputy Manager to join our domiciliary care team in Carlisle. The successful candidate will support the Registered Manager, ensure safe and effective delivery of care, and develop care plans for children, adults, and the elderly in their own homes.

You should have at least 1 year of domiciliary care experience, hold a UK driving licence with access to a car, and be working towards an L5 while holding an L4 in Health and Social Care.

Job description

We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join and grow our domiciliary care company in Carlisle. The right candidate must have at least a year of experience in Domiciliary care, looking after Children, adults, and elderly people in their own homes.

The successful candidate will be expected to support the Registered Manager in ensuring the safe, effective delivery of care services. The qualified candidate must hold an L4 Qualification in Health and Social Care and working towards a L5.

Support will be required in the following areas:

• -Assist with day-to-day operations, including support to other branches as needed.
• -Support the care manager in interviewing and selecting new professional carers, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
• -Assist with scheduling care visits.
• -Attend client reviews and update care plans monthly or as required.
• -Participate in new client meetings, complete initial assessments, and develop care plans and risk assessments.
• -Maintain all client records in the care App and create corresponding office files.
• -Coaching and supervising staff and promoting a high level of satisfaction.
• -As a Deputy Manager, you will work closely with health professionals, agencies and the Local Authorities to secure care packages, provide effective and holistic care, making sure that their care is Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-Led. Bonuses will be offered based on your input in growing the company. You must be proactive and have the Knowledge to win packages and source private care packages.

• -You will be able to cover last-minute cancellations and ad hoc shifts to ensure the safety of our clients.

A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in domiciliary care services is required. The candidate must hold appropriate qualifications and have the capabilities to expand the business, using an evidence-based practice skills and knowledge.

The candidate must hold a UK driving licence and own a car.
