Job summary

Cornerstone (Aberdeen) is seeking a part-time Support Practitioner to assist individuals in their own homes in the G82 4AR area. The role is on-site, permanent, with hours 16-30 per week and a salary of £27,277 pro rata per year.

You will help with daily living, build trusting relationships, and support activities from meals to day trips, contributing to a person-centered approach.

Qualifications

  • Commitment to joining the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme
  • Willingness to work toward an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare
  • SSSC registration within 3 months of starting employment

Our amazing teams across Dumbarton and Renton are looking for new colleagues to join them on a part-time (16-30 hours per week), permanent basis.

You'll be joining our fun and friendly housing support teams supporting individuals within their own homes.

You'll build a genuine relationship with each of the individuals and be part of the moments that really matter; whether it's providing support to cook a meal, achieve a goal, trying something new or just feel understood.

As well as supporting the individuals with all aspects of their daily living, the people we support have a range of interests from going to the pub for some lunch or dinner, attending pottery classes and finding new places to go for a day trip.

This isn't just a support role, it's building trust, sharing laughs and helping people live life their way!

If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting your employment with us.
