Job summary

Performance Food Group's Performance Foodservice is seeking a Forklift Operator, Non Formula, to move freight through a multi-temperature warehouse. The role uses forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to ensure safe handling and accurate inventory flow.

You will follow receiving procedures, perform temperature and quality checks, and complete documentation while maintaining a clean, safe work area and meeting productivity standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months warehouse/distribution experience.
• Must be able to work scheduled times and overtime.
• Ability to lift 10–35 pounds and up to 60–90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Preferred: 1+ year with stand-up lift/reach truck.
• Preferred: foodservice distribution or related industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, pallet jack, reach truck to move freight.
• Locate proper slot on storage racks and replenish pick slots.
• Inspect items for damage and perform temperature/quality checks.
• Follow safety policies and PPE requirements; maintain clean work area.
• Complete receiving sheets and other paperwork at shift end.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
