Job summary

Global Medical Response’s REACH program seeks a Helicopter Air Ambulance Pilot for a full-time position in Steamboat, Colorado. You will transport patients with a medical team, ensure aircraft readiness, and maintain regulatory documentation.

Minimum qualifications include FAA rotorcraft commercial certificate, rotorcraft instrument rating, Class I/II medical, and thousands of flight hours. AS350/H125 experience is preferred; HS diploma or higher required.

Qualifications

• 2,000 Total Flight Hours (minimum)
• 2,000 Helicopter Hours
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours
• 200 helicopter night hours (with/without aid)
• 230 lb weight limit with flight gear
• FAA Rotorcraft Commercial Certificate
• Helicopter instrument rating
• Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate

Responsibilities

• Transport patients with medical team to/from locations
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch and comply with FAR/REACH rules
• Maintain REACH and regulatory documentation
• Communicate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners
• Provide shift-change information per recording protocols
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training

HAA Pilot Full-Time Opportunity – Steamboat, Colorado

We’re hiring aHelicopter Pilotto provide medical air transportation services for REACH customers. Safety isa key pillar of ourservices.

Incentives

• $106,511 - $117,162 Salary including 20% Geo Modifier
• 15K Sign on Bonus, subject to eligibility
• Retention Bonus Plans ($40,000 after 3 years, plus additional retention bonuses once completed)
• 5K for Lead Pilot Stipend
• On Duty Housing (for select locations)
• 7 Days On and 7 Days Off Schedule

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and REACH requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties
• Maintain accurate REACH and regulatory documentation and record keeping
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners
• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and team following protocol for recording A REACH change board details
• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training
