Job summary

REACH Air Medical Services is hiring a full-time HAA Pilot in Steamboat, Colorado. You will fly as part of a medical air transport team, ensuring aircraft readiness and compliance with FAR/REACH procedures while maintaining detailed regulatory documentation.

The role requires rotorcraft commercial certification, instrument rating, and 2,000 total flight hours with 2,000 helicopter hours, including turbine experience and night hours.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate is required.
• Helicopter Instrument Rating is required.
• Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate is required.
• Minimum 2,000 total flight hours and 2,000 helicopter hours.
• Minimum 1,000 helicopter PIC hours and 1,000 turbine helicopter hours.
• 200 night helicopter hours (aided or unaided).
• 230 pound weight limit with flight gear.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients with a team of medical experts to and from locations and facilities.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatch per FAR and REACH requirements and aircraft cleanliness duties.
• Maintain REACH and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change info to the next pilot and team following change board details.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.
