Job summary

Global Medical Response's REACH program seeks a HAA Pilot to provide urgent medical air transport in California. This full-time role offers a 7/7 schedule, on-duty housing, and competitive compensation with a 15K sign-on bonus and retention bonuses.

You will ensure aircraft readiness, maintain regulatory documentation, and coordinate closely with dispatch and flight crews while upholding safety and FAR requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate.
• Helicopter instrument rating.
• Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate.
• 2,000 Total Flight Hours.
• 2,000 Helicopter Hours.
• 1,000 Helicopter PIC Hours.
• 1,000 Turbine Helicopter Hours.
• 200 helicopter night hours.

Responsibilities

• Transport customers to and from locations with medical teams.
• Maintain aircraft readiness for dispatch per FAR/REACH requirements and ensure cleanliness.
• Maintain REACH and regulatory documentation and records.
• Communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
• Provide shift change information and record REACH change board details.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training.

HAA PILOT Full-Time Opportunity

We're hiring a Helicopter Pilot to provide medical air transportation services for REACH customers. Safety is a key pillar of our services.

• Salary Range: $110,949- $122,044 including 25% Geographic Modifier
• 15K Sign-On Bonus, subject to eligibility
• Retention Bonus plans ($40,000 after 3 years plus additional retention bonuses once completed)
• On Duty Housing
• 7/7 Schedule

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities

• Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches as described in the appropriate manuals, including all FAR and REACH requirements, and aircraft cleanliness duties

• Maintain accurate REACH and regulatory documentation and record keeping

• Effectively communicate and collaborate with dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners

• Provide shift change info to successive pilot and teamfollowing protocol for recording A REACH change board details

• Accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training

Minimum Requirements

• Current Rotorcraft FAA Commercial Certificate

• Helicopter instrument rating

• Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate

• 2,000 Total Flight Hours

• 2,000 Helicopter Hours

• 1,000Helicopter PICHours

• 1000 Turbine Helicopter Hours

• 200 helicopter hours night hours aided or unaided

• 230 poundweight limit with flight gear

Preferred Qualifications

• AS350/H125 EC130/H130 Aircraft Experience

• High School Diploma/Equivalent or Higher
