Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a Part-Time Behavior Technician I to support adults with IDD and BH in a Therapeutic Home in Culpeper, VA. The role focuses on daily programs, therapeutic interventions, and personal care to prevent crises.

You will collaborate with care providers and families to ensure comprehensive support. The position offers competitive pay between $20 and $25 per hour, with training in CPR/First Aid and other supervision, along with a robust benefits package for eligible

Qualifications

• Experience working with IDD/Behavioral Health disorders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Service field or High School diploma required.
• Valid state driver’s license and auto insurance for work use.

Responsibilities

• Equip individuals with coping skills and tools to prevent hospitalization and crisis.
• Facilitate daily programs and rehabilitative activities.
• Provide therapeutic interventions and assistance with personal care.

Schedule:

Part-Time: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday (7am-3pm)

Your Role in Our Mission

As a Behavior Technician I (BT), your days will be spent equipping individuals with the tools, coping skills and support to prevent hospitalization and crisis. Responsibilities include facilitating daily programs and rehabilitative activities, providing therapeutic interventions, and assisting with personal care. As a member of the REACH team, you will work closely with participants’ primary care providers, community crisis services, and families to ensure comprehensive support for those referred to the home.

What We’re Looking For
