Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health in Culpeper, VA is seeking a Part-Time Behavior Technician I to support adults with IDD and BH in our Therapeutic Home. The role focuses on empowering residents with coping skills, daily activities, and individualized interventions within a supportive REACH team.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a High School Diploma, plus a valid driver’s license. A comprehensive benefits package and ongoing training are offered to eligible staff.

We are seeking a passionate Behavior Technician I to work with individuals living with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and mental health challenges residing in our Adult Therapeutic Home (ATH) located in Culpeper, VA.

Schedule: Part-Time: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday (7am-3pm).

Your Role in Our Mission

As a Behavior Technician I (BT), your days will be spent equipping individuals with the tools, coping skills and support to prevent hospitalization and crisis. Responsibilities include facilitating daily programs and rehabilitative activities, providing therapeutic interventions, and assisting with personal care. As a member of the REACH team, you will work closely with participants’ primary care providers, community crisis services, and families to ensure comprehensive support for those referred to the home.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive Rate: $20 – $25 / hr based on experience.
• Paid training: CPR / first-aid, Mindset, Medication Administration, Infectious Disease, Seizure Management, and QMHP-T supervision!

What We’re Looking For:
