Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a seasoned Advisor in Revenue Cycle Management to lead governance and optimization of our revenue cycle systems. The role partners with Finance, Operations, and IT to enhance revenue integrity, data governance, and financial performance across provider, entity, and payer relationships.

You will analyze payer data, manage system configurations, and ensure compliance with CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10 changes while driving continuous improvement across the revenue cycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–12 years in revenue cycle or related field preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical coding, billing practices, and revenue cycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative oversight of revenue cycle system configuration and governance.
• Serve as SME for revenue cycle systems and data integrity.
• Lead system configuration, troubleshooting, and vendor collaboration for improvements.
• Evaluate performance and processes to optimize workflows and financial outcomes.
• Oversee insurance plan configurations and ensure alignment with contracts and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate provider and location master data.
• Analyze payer and operational data to identify revenue enhancement opportunities.
• Oversee CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 updates to support reimbursement and compliance.
