Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks an experienced Revenue Cycle Advisor to optimize revenue cycle systems and governance across multiple sites. The role focuses on system configuration, data integrity, and collaboration with IT and partners to improve reimbursement and financial performance.

You will oversee provider and location data governance, update coding configurations, and drive operational efficiency within the revenue cycle platform, impacting overall revenue integrity and growth.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in revenue cycle management or related field preferred
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Strong understanding of medical coding, billing practices, and revenue cycle processes
• Proficiency in revenue cycle management software and MS Office Suite
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Provide consultative oversight of revenue cycle practice management system configuration and governance.
• Serve as the SME for revenue cycle systems and support stakeholders with issue resolution and governance.
• Lead system configuration, troubleshooting, and enhancements with IT and vendor partners.
• Evaluate system performance and processes to identify workflow efficiency improvements.
• Oversee governance of insurance plan configurations and payer contract alignment.
• Partner with Revenue Cycle, Finance, and Operations to maintain contract groups and accurate revenue attribution.
• Analyze payer data to identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and process improvements.
• Oversee CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding updates for timely reimbursement.
