Mai Placement in Montvale, NJ is seeking a Medical Billing Performance & Analytics Manager to own performance tracking across our medical billing client accounts. This role requires deep knowledge of RCM numbers and proactive investigation to address issues, not just produce reports.

The ideal candidate will monitor AR aging, denial trends, payer performance, and client KPIs, and will collaborate with internal teams to drive measurable billing improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong medical billing / RCM experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation ability.
• Experience monitoring RCM performance and KPIs.
• Ability to identify root causes behind performance issues.
• Highly detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Own collections and payment trend tracking.
• Monitor AR aging (30/60/90/120+).
• Track days in AR.
• Monitor clean claim and first-pass rates.
• Analyze denial trends and underpayments.
• Review outstanding and unbilled claims.
• Oversee claim submission turnaround.
• Analyze payer performance and adjustments.
• Maintain client KPIs and scorecards.
• Identify discrepancies and negative trends.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve performance issues.
