Job summary

MedHQ, LLC, a fast-growing provider of consulting and technology-enabled expert services for outpatient healthcare, seeks an RCM Manager to lead day-to-day billing operations across orthopedics and ASC billing. You will mentor staff, drive KPI reporting, and push process improvements to enhance cash flow and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in medical billing leadership (RCM).
• Experience with orthopedic and ASC high-volume claims.
• Strong staff leadership, coaching, and performance management.
• Advanced reporting with dashboards, KPIs, and financial metrics.
• Analytical mindset with drive for process optimization.
• Willing to roll up sleeves and work accounts when needed.
• CPC/CCS certification is a plus; knowledge of multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day billing operations across multiple specialties, especially orthopedics and ASC billing.
• Mentor billing staff; drive accountability, productivity, and professional development.
• Perform hands-on billing functions as needed (coding reviews, denials, appeals).
• Develop, analyze, and present RCM performance reports and forecasts.
• Drive process improvements to reduce denials and accelerate cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with payer rules and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain proficiency in multiple practice management and EHR systems.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training programs.
