Job summary

Raintree Systems, Inc. is seeking an Implementation Consultant specializing in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) to lead client implementations. This fully remote role may be performed from the United States, with focus on optimizing RCM, billing, and clearinghouse workflows for multiple clients.

You will guide setup, testing, and onboarding, ensuring timelines are met while coordinating with payers, vendors, and client billing teams. Strong ERP/EMR knowledge and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Direct experience with medical billing workflows and RCM operations.
• Solid understanding of clearinghouse operations, electronic claim formats, ERAs, eligibility and claim scrubbers.
• Familiarity with therapy-specific billing requirements (PT/OT/ST), Medicare Part B rules, modifiers, cap limits, and authorization tracking.
• A Bachelor's Degree in business, healthcare administration, or a related field.
• Web-based Training or Classroom Training/Coaching experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical computerized billing, EMR/EHR systems, and scheduling software systems required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, coordinate, and manage all aspects of the implementation for new and existing clients.
• Configure the Raintree application utilizing best practices for the latest features and functionality in the system for a given client, with specific emphasis on revenue cycle, billing, and clinical workflows.
• Analyze client billing operations, payer setups, and charge capture workflows to configure Raintree’s RCM module for optimal clean claim rates and reduced days in AR.
• Lead the setup, configuration, and testing of electronic claim submission, electronic remittance advice, real-time eligibility verification, and clearinghouse integrations.
• Partner with clearinghouse representatives and payer enrollment teams to ensure smooth transition and onboarding of EDI, EFT, and ERA connections.
• Direct end-to-end testing of clinical-to-billing handoffs—from scheduling, co-pay collection, and clinical documentation to final claim submission.
• Train client billing teams, billers, and revenue cycle managers through key product learning milestones.
• Serve as a direct point of customer contact during the implementation.
• Ensure implementation milestones are met on time.
• Coordinate data conversion, interface, and EDI/clearinghouse timelines and expectations.
• Follow project plans and manage scope and timeline, escalating to project managers as needed.
• Hand off to Client Support when the client has completed the implementation.
