Job summary

OB Hospitalist Group (OBHG) is seeking an RCM Educator of Coding and Charge Capture to train hospitalists, midwives, nurse practitioners and staff on proper coding per guidelines. This remote role supports education via web-based Patient Keeper training and collaborates with the RCM Coding Manager to improve onboarding and compliance.

The ideal candidate has CPC certification, 5+ years of coding experience, and strong healthcare terminology.

Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) required.
• Teaching or public speaking experience helpful when educating physicians.
• Minimum of 5 years of coding experience.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sessions and train clinicians on how to capture charges in Patient Keeper.
• Conduct web-based Patient Keeper training for new and existing clinicians.
• Assist in coding education needs in collaboration with the Manager of RCM Coding.
• Develop and update training materials reflecting updates in coding guidelines.
