Job summary

OB Hospitalist Group is seeking an RCM Educator of Coding and Charge Capture to train clinicians on accurate coding using Patient Keeper and stay aligned with coding guidelines. This role supports onboarding and ongoing education across our Greenville-area operations.

The ideal candidate has CPC certification, at least five years of coding experience, and strong knowledge of Medicaid regulations. Excellent teaching and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) is required.
• Minimum 5 years of coding experience.
• Teaching or public speaking experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicaid coding regulations is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy is essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sessions and train all new clinicians on charge capture in Patient Keeper.
• Conduct web-based Patient Keeper training for new and existing clinicians.
• Identify education needs for clinicians in collaboration with the Manager of RCM Coding.
• Review onboarding programs to ensure accurate and complete charge capture.
• Develop and update policies related to billing and coding.
• Maintain online training materials reflecting system changes and best practices.
