Qualifications

• Certified professional coder (CPC) or CCS or equivalent credential.
• Associate degree preferred in health information fields.
• Experience in provider coding education and CDI is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver provider coding and documentation education for physicians and APPs.
• Interpret coding guideline changes, payer updates, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct coding/documentation reviews to identify education opportunities.
