Job summary

ModMed is hiring an Associate RCM Client Advisor to join our Revenue Cycle Management team. In this client-facing, entry-level role, you will manage day-to-day inquiries, perform claim-level reviews, and educate practice staff on best practices to ensure operational health and reduce churn.

You will work with Client Advisors and internal teams to triage cases, elevate trends, and help optimize client outcomes, aiming for high CSAT scores and potential expansion opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in medical billing or revenue cycle management.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Medical Billing Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming client emails, support cases, and transactional questions about charges, payments, and claims.
• Conduct claim-level denial reviews and patient balance reviews with client staff.
• Manage phone queues and route inquiries to appropriate internal teams.
• Identify recurring claim issues and escalate to the Client Advisor or teams for resolution.
• Oversee daily support across ~20 client accounts, delivering high-level customer service.
• Assist with risk mitigation plans and identify opportunities for ModMed services.
