Job summary

ModMed is hiring a customer-focused Associate RCM Client Advisor to join our Revenue Cycle Management team. In this entry-level, client-facing role, you will handle day-to-day transactional tasks across client accounts, triage inquiries, and educate staff on best practices to mitigate churn risk.

You will work with Client Advisors and operations to triage cases, identify trending issues, and help optimize client outcomes, aiming for high CSAT and opportunities for expansion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related experience in medical billing, healthcare business processes, or revenue cycle management, or equivalent education/experience.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Medical Billing Certification preferred.
• Solid knowledge of medical billing, insurance carriers (Medicare, HMOs, PPOs).

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming client emails, support cases, and transactional questions regarding charges, payments, and claims, ensuring resolution within a 48-hour SLA.
• Conduct claim-level denial reviews, patient balance reviews, and demographic reviews with client staff.
• Manage phone queues and route inquiries to internal teams as needed.
• Identify larger claim issues, recurring trends, or contract-related matters for escalation.
• Oversee daily support across ~20 client accounts, delivering strong customer service to office staff.
• Act as a Business Systems Analyst by documenting client issues and preparing materials for subject matter experts.
