Job summary

Epic Minds Therapy seeks a dedicated RBT to implement ABA-based interventions for children and individuals with developmental disabilities. You will collect data, assist in assessments, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records under BCBA supervision.

The role emphasizes direct client support in multiple settings, collaboration with families and educators, and ongoing professional development to improve behavioral health and daily living skills.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, particularly ABA.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation, and records management.
• Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
• Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and team members.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA standards.
• A background in special education or related fields is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide direct support to children and individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings.
• Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress towards goals.
• Assist in patient assessments and intake processes to gather relevant information.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in behavioral health and special education.
• Support clients in developing social skills, communication, and daily living skills.
