Job summary

Epic Minds Therapy is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, implementing ABA-based behavioral techniques. You will collect data, monitor progress, and support goal achievement in person.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of ABA therapy techniques.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and records management.
• Strong patient care principles and practices.
• Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments effectively.
• Excellent communication with clients, families, and team members.
• Commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA standards.
• Background in special education a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision of a BCBA.
• Provide direct support to children and individuals with developmental disabilities in various settings.
• Collect and record data on client behaviors and progress toward goals.
• Assist in patient assessments and intake processes to gather relevant information.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals for holistic care.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development in behavioral health and special education.
• Support clients in developing social, communication, and daily living skills.
